The National Coalition for Maternal Mental Health is proud to have started National Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week three years ago to raise awareness of the most common complication of childbirth.
In 2016, our #AskHer campaign engaged communities, friends and families to ask a new mom in their life how she was really feeling. We received so many stories from women around the country who were asked by their friends and family how they were feeling and in response were connected to help.
This May, we are encouraging organizations, communities and individuals to #connectthedots and become a partner to raise awareness for the number one complication of childbirth to connect families, communities and providers to ensure every mother and baby thrive.
Partners sign on to re-tweet and re-post digital shareable messages from NCMMH’s twitter and facebook accounts starting May 1st and running till May 7th.
